India

In 2015, I went to India because I wanted to see for myself the place where my next book would begin: north central and north eastern India. I wanted to see the rural areas and after much research found a very small group tour (only six people), with Rockjumper Tours. The tour covered bird and tiger territories. I went for the tigers. It was an amazing trip—forests, parks, fields, towns, garbage dumps (no tigers there, but plenty of birds). I found the place where Sarah, the youngest daughter of Evelyn and Adam Hope starts a two-year journey. I found much, much more and could write for days about my trip to India, but for now, here are a few of my favorite photos from that trip.
